Your Day...Your hearty Victorian
breakfast is served from antique silver, crystal and Royal Worcester
china. The aroma of freshly brewing coffee and home-baked breads
wakes you up while quiches, crepes, and egg entrees fortify you for
the day.
We offer beach chairs, towels and tags if you're heading for the
surf. We offer directions and advice if you're looking for antiques.
Perhaps best of all, we offer a beautifully restored parlor and
library and a large wraparound porch if you're planning on doing
absolutely nothing. There's a Victorian cabinet grand piano if
you're feeling musical, hundreds of books if you're feeling
literary, and comfy chairs and ottomans if you're feeling like a
nap.
After working on your tan all day, you can join us for afternoon
English tea with sweets and savouries. We'll help you with dinner
reservations at Cape May's many fine restaurants. At night the ocean
breezes and the sound of the surf will lull you to sleep.
Visit our elegantly restored 1880's home in the heart of the
Victorian Historic District.
We are only one half block from the beach and two blocks from the
main street.
Leith Hall sparkles with multi-patterned walls and shimmering
gilded surfaces. Our opulent bedrooms are furnished with Victorian
antiques including walnut or brass beds, hand carved mahogany
tables, laces and linens, fringes and tassels. Our stained glass
French doors grace the shady verandah.
Amidst all this Victorian luxury, we haven't forgotten modern
amenities.
All of our rooms and suites feature private baths and all rooms
include air conditioning and refrigerators for cooling your
beverages for the beach. We also offer outdoor beach showers and
free limited on-site parking. Of course, one of our greatest
amenities is the view of the ocean from every bedroom upstairs and
from the porch.
